Self confidence is the most attractive quality a person can have. How can anyone see how great you are if you cant see it yourself?  To believe in your self now that’s true power. However we all know that nobody is born with limitless self confidence. Self-confidence is something you learn to build up because the challenging life in general can deflate it. Also with the rise of social media its so easy to compare yourself to others and end up feeling not good enough or small . Here are a few tips to help you be more confident and always feel good enough…

  1. Stop comparing yourself to others. Comparison  is the thief of happiness. Rather focus on positives about yourself and focus on building those up. Practice gratitude and patience.

2. Take time to take care of your self. Join that gym if you are insecure about your weight, start that skincare regimen, dress well and invest in good pieces. After all when you look good you feel great.

3.Affirm yourself. Affirmations do indeed strengthen us by helping us believe in the potential of an action we desire to manifest. Tell yourself that you are beautiful and confident and you deserve to live the life of  your dreams. Trust me it works!

4. Accept your self and learn to be kind to your self. Minimize self deprecation or speaking down on yourself even jokingly because this has a very negative impact on your confidence.

5. Lastly FAKE IT TILL YOU MAKE IT!!! That is my personal favorite tip, walk into that room like you own it no matter how much you are breaking down inside. Look fear straight into the eye and you will eventually conquer it. Act confident and you will end up feeling confident. Thank me later.

The old me would never be caught dead in shorts but here i am rocking frayed hem shorts that i made from my old jeans (if y’all want a DIY tutorial comment below). I’m sure at this point you know bodysuits are bae so i paired the shorts with a bodysuit and my most comfortable heels.
